Throughout his career, he has acted in class actions, Royal Commissions and inquiries, significant ASIC and ACCC investigations, large-scale tax disputes, product liability litigation and numerous commercial disputes across the banking, superannuation, resources, energy, professional services, retail, outsourcing, infrastructure and property sectors.
Also joining the Melbourne team are Special Counsel Georgia Boyce, Senior Associate Tooba Khaliqy, Associate Caroline Ashton and Lawyer Megan Colclough.
“I’m delighted to be joining Holding Redlich with my team and contributing to a practice with a strong reputation for providing commercially focused advice on complex disputes,” said Duncan. “I look forward to collaborating with colleagues across the firm to support clients navigating increasingly complex litigation, regulatory and governance environments.”
Bridget has acted for large companies and private individuals in complex commercial litigation and contractual disputes across the energy, property and retail sectors. She also has significant expertise in corporate fraud and asset recovery matters.
Her experience includes advising a national petroleum company on disputes across Australia, acting in a high-profile fraud matter involving more than $20 million, and representing major landlords, shopping centre owners and property fund managers in complex leasing and development disputes.
“I’m looking forward to joining Holding Redlich and working with the national team across a broad range of commercial disputes,” said Bridget. “The opportunity to contribute my experience and support the continued growth of the practice is an exciting next step.”
Holding Redlich’s National Head of Dispute Resolution & Litigation, Greg Wrobel, welcomed the appointments.
“Duncan and Bridget are both highly respected litigators who bring extensive experience managing complex, high-stakes disputes across a range of sectors,” said Greg.
“Duncan’s appointment, together with the addition of Georgia, Tooba, Caroline and Megan in Melbourne, and Bridget’s appointment in Queensland represent a significant investment in Holding Redlich’s capability to support clients facing increasingly complex disputes. Together, they add further depth to our national team of more than 60 partners and lawyers, with expertise across commercial litigation, regulatory investigations, energy, property and fraud matters.”
